Certain items are not to be listed on Veryfied at all. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that items listed comply with local laws and regulations. Be smart and aware of our list of prohibited content.
Please find below a simplified guideline on prohibited and restricted items that are not allowed on Veryfied:
1. Drugs & Tobacco

✘ Escort services and sensual massage services
✘ Used undergarments
✘ Listings that promote or position products or services in a sexually suggestive manner i.e. contains nudity, implied nudity
3. Animals & Animal Products
✘ Live animals and insects
✘ Any items that are or are made from or include any part of an animal that is subject to regulations or laws for the protection of live animals, including endangered/exotic species and domesticated animals, including but not limited to, pangolin scales, ivory, rhinoceros horn, tiger bone, bear bile, bear paw
4. Counterfeit Items
✘ Counterfeit items
✘ Potentially infringing items: Items including but not limited to replicas, counterfeit items, and unauthorized copies of a product or item which may be in violation of certain copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties;
5. Weapons, Ammunition & Related Accessories
✘ Firearms, weapons such as pepper spray, replicas, and stun guns, etc.; In general, products with no intended utility or could cause grievous harm are not allowed.

✘ Any item that infringes or violates any applicable laws and regulations. For the avoidance of doubt, you shall obtain all authority, licenses, permits and/or consents required and necessary
6. Fireworks, explosives, or any hazardous material or restricted chemical
✘ Ammunition & explosives, including collectibles or display – without regard to, stated as no longer functioning or harmful

7. Items that are illegal and/or unauthorised or may encourage illicit activities
✘ Stolen or illegal goods (in parts or in full)
✘ Unlicensed lottery tickets and tickets offering illegal payouts
✘ Any unauthorised or unlicensed decoder or device designed or intended for the transmission or transmission of radio waves
✘ Unlicensed or unauthorised transport and accommodation services
✘ Unlicensed or unauthorised transport and accommodation services
✘ Items or articles belonging to or relating to any triad society
✘ Looking for Agents, Dealers, Distributors, Suppliers, Joint Ventures, Business Partners and other similar ads
✘ Listings promoting Multi-Level-Marketing programs, Get-Rich-Quick schemes, Investment schemes, Pyramid selling schemes, Fast cash schemes, Commission-only schemes, gambling
✘ Vehicle pawning or a vehicle with 'Continue Payment', 'Continue Loan' or 'Sambung Bayar'
8. Medical & Healthcare Items
✘ Any consumables with slimming/weight loss effect
✘ Health supplements not registered in NPRA
✘ Over the counter medicine
✘ Prescription drugs
✘ Injectable health or cosmetic substances
✘ Medicinal and healthcare products/services claiming to treat or cure any condition which requires the attention of a registered medical or other qualified practitioners
✘ Any products found to contain banned substances and/or are identified to cause adverse side effects.
✘ Any drugs, poisons, antibiotics, pharmaceutical products that violates any applicable law and/or regulation.8. Offensive Materials
✘ Content that incite feelings of hostility between different races and/or classes of the population
✘ Content that seeks to shame others and/or reveal personal information of others
9. Consumables of the following
✘ Food containing prohibited substances/substances in excess of permitted proportions

✘ Industrial-grade pesticides
✘ Uncertified electronics

✘ Any sale, resale or sharing of digital subscriptions and accounts for streaming services, including, but not limited to Cable TV, Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, YouTube etc.

✘ Money lending services
✘ Bank transfer and payment helper services
✘ Recalled items
✘ Unauthorised reproduction of currencies
✘ Shares, stock and other securities
✘ Cryptocurrencies
✘ Content that exaggerates beneficial/health effects of a product
✘ Content that misleads or misrepresents a product
✘ Political or seditious materials
✘ TV Box/Android Box/Set Top Box that can be used to stream copyrighted materials and its accessories such as remote controllers, cables and chargers
✘ Any listing or item that violates any applicable law and/or regulation or which Veryfied.my determines is inappropriate for sale through the services provided by Veryfied.my
✘ Printing services relating to COVID-19 vaccination certificate
✘ Services relating to the receiving and/or sending of OTPs (one-time passwords)
